I have yet to play my newfound favorite game, In Her Majesty's Name by Craig Cartmell and Charles Murton from Osprey Wargames, but I have read enough of the rules to be nigh on an expert in them. Enough so that I decided to write a supplement for it called IHMN - Fantasy.
To give you a quick rundown of In Her Majesty's Name, I will simply tell you that it is a very easy to learn Victoriana Sci-fi (or dare I say steampunk) miniature skirmish game. You make an army (which is called a company) with up to 250 points worth of figures. Each figure has unique capabilities and flavor.
The nicest part of the game is the rules are so easy to learn, I could teach you them in little under 10 or so minutes, and yet for all this simplicity there is also a richness and depth to what a company can be.
But the thing that sold me the most was the fact that there are rules in the book to create things not covered within it (i.e.: you can make virtually damn near anything you wish within the rules). More so than this, the writers actually encourage you to take the rules, as long proper credit is given to them and you don't openly re-release their published material or release material for profit, to release your own addition to the rules, be they new and interesting companies, scenarios, complications, or whatever else you can think of.
So without any further ado, here is the link to my own contribute, which will also be available soon on lead-adventure.de under the In Her Majesty's Name thread as soon as my membership is approved.

One thing leads to another: My robotics and electronics blog.
Hello out there, I know it has been an eternity since anything has been posted here on this blog.
While I am still an active and adament gamer, I am also an avid and emmerging electronics engineer, espcecially in the field of robotics.
So now is the time to put this shameful little plug for my other blog, Electromancer.
Also, I am slowly and surely working on more game related things.
For example, I have worked on my own miniature tabletop wargame called Starsmashers and a more advanced version of the one page Dead Simple Roleplaying game that can be found on the wonderful page Gawd 'Elp Us Games called Eldritch (working title) and its two supplements, Ascending Past the Mortal Coil which outlines a character's ascencion to godhood and the upcoming Creature Files which acts to add a collection of monsters, foes, and other npcs to the game, to which I will make both avaible here on this blog in due time.
So yeah, here to blog necromancy, and watch this space because things are about to get very interesting.

Work begins on my Fallout 3 mod, The Abominable Doctor Satanicus
Hey, its been a while since I posted anything here.
Anyways, I have begun work on a new and exciting project, a Fallout 3 Pulp Sci-Fi mod entitled the Abominable Doctor Satanicus.
It will feature new armor (mostly re-textured armors and reworked armors from other peoples works, which I will give full credit to them), new weapons, new monsters, and, if I feel confident enough in my modding ability, a new worldspace set on a tropical island on the Equatorial Atlantic ocean.
Please be patient, as I am giving myself a crash course in using the GECK, so this may take a while to complete.
Once it is finished, I will release my work on the Fallout 3 Nexus website.
So watch this space for any future developments...

PLAY AID: New Ork Datasheet and Ork Unit
I made some new toys for orks to play with.
The First is a new Apocalypse Datasheet, the Kustom Mega Force Field Trakk.
The Second is my take on the old (and oft converted) Grot Tank.
Hope you enjoy them.
They can be found on the bottom of the blog.

PLAY AID: Mighty Commanders
I was inspired to write this article after reading the Mighty Champions article in WD350 and figured with the release of the Planetary Empires for WH40k that I make version of these rules for the expansion. Though lacking in originality (I basically took most of the rules as written in the article, omitted certain rules that didn't translate into 40k rules, and modified what was left into 40k rules) it still should prove to be a good analog for Planetary Empires.
I called the project Mighty Commanders (again, not very original, but still quite serviceable for what it is), and you can find it at the bottom of my blog in the 40k Supplemental Rules box.
Cheers,
Mark
